In
Breakout:
Normandy,
many outcomes are decided by simultaneously rolling two dice (that
is, by a DR). This
table shows the probability of getting any given sum as the result
of a DR. Since two six-sided dice are rolled, there are 6x6=36 possible
outcomes including duplicates. These possible outcomes are:
(1,1)=2, (1,2)=3, (2,1)=3, ..., (6,6)=12. The possible sum values
excluding duplicates are 2, 3, 4, ..., 12 and the table shows
how likely it is that you will get any particular one of these 11
outcomes in a given DR. The table also shows the probability of
getting a DR result that is less than or equal to any one of these
11 sum values.
